This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses syrcleHR. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
Universal rules
- Do not impersonate any person or organization.
- Do not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or that violates someone else's rights.
- Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access.
- Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services except through a coordinated disclosure to legal@syrcleHR.com.
- Do not introduce malware or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Services.
- Do not scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data without our prior written consent.
Rules for districts and recruiters
- Use blind profiles only to evaluate candidates for legitimate, open roles.
- Do not attempt to re-identify a candidate by combining profile data with external information, by social engineering, or by any means that bypasses the in-product handshake.
- Do not share unlocked candidate identities, contact information, or resumes outside the team members in your organization who need the information for the hiring decision.
- Do not use the Services to discriminate on the basis of a protected characteristic or to retaliate against a candidate for declining an unlock.
- Honor the candidate's terminal decisions. Declined means declined.
Rules for candidates
- Submit accurate information about your experience, credentials, and licensure.
- Do not list another person's experience as your own.
- Respond to unlock requests within the 72-hour window so that districts and recruiters can plan accordingly. Letting requests expire is acceptable; ghosting accepted handshakes is not.
Reporting violations
Report suspected violations to legal@syrcleHR.com. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include warnings, content removal, account suspension, or termination.
